Edgar Hoover, in a striking coat, holds a key to secrets and power as he stands below a grand religious building. At the center is a Kewpie doll, innocence and flawed perfection, with a rusted toy plane flying overhead. Dovima poses within a frame of Roman columns as a symbol of glamour and artifice, while the ocean at Miami Beach shimmers in the moonlight as the unconscious: deep, unpredictable and full of hidden currents.
